Australia Day is all about keep cool while having a few beers, but a group of Canberra friends took it to the next level.
The fun-loving larrikins constructed the ultimate slip and slide by attaching a hose and a handle on a rope to a Hill's Hoist in the middle of a park.
They laid down slippery tarpaulins in a circle around the clothesline and used the hose to propel it around in a circle and took turns swinging around.

Jake Fraser uploaded a video to Facebook of himself having a go on the contraption made by his friends Phil and Mike Jacobs, CJ and 'Bogan Jack'.
Using an Australian flag as a cape, Mr Fraser kept his footing for two go around before falling on his side and completing another two revolutions.
He then let go of the handle and slid down an exit tarp where a friend was waiting to hand him a beer on the way through.
Mr Fraser impressively grabbed the bottle before tumbling end over end without spilling a drop, and taking a big swig as if all in one motion.
