LISBON — The Port Authority board has adopted a resolution Friday to issue an award notice to Star Crane and Hoist Inc. for the quality liquid feeds project, funded by the Ohio Department of Transportation Maritime Assistance Program grant.

Initially, on May 23, the board had adopted a resolution to execute a notice of award for the project to AmeriCrane & Hoist Corp. Friday, the board voted to rescind the resolution after the bid was deemed non-responsive and then adopted the new resolution.

The award is for a Budgit Electric Chain Hoist H4 for the amount of $6,429.34. Star Crane & Hoist is located in North Royalton.

The board also voted to adopt another resolution authorizing the execution of a first amendment to the bond forms and other related closing certificates in connection with the port’s revenue bond for Canton Christian Home Inc. Project from June 6, 2014. The original bond principal amount was for $10,000,000 and its economic development revenue bond dated for Feb. 25, 2015 was issued for $4,500,000. Attorney Tim Brookes advised the board that there was no downside to approving the resolution.
