For fantasy football owners, it all boils down to this. Week 14 (for most sane bosses who do not decide the championship in Week 18) is the last chance for teams on the verge of fantasy playoffs, if they are lucky enough to have locked up their seats in the playoffs.
Each pickup this week can be the difference between lifting a trophy in a month or spending the rest of the holiday in a terrible consolation bracket. Let's break down this week's top fantasy pickups with all roster percentages provided by Yahoo Sports.
Streaming defense is usually the key to the success of the fantasy playoffs, and the best team to get the exemption line this week is the Green Bay Packers. After seeing each other in Week 13 and rested well, the Packers went home this week to play Sunday night with the troubled Chicago Bears.
Whether it's Justin Fields or Andy Dalton under the center, Mattnaghi's team is cruel on the offensive end. When they met for the first time in week 7, Green Bay feasted on the Bears, scoring 4 sacks and one interception in the standard Yahoo League, scoring a steady 7 points.
